The Inner Development Goals Summit, was a major conference held at the Stockholm Concert Hall on Friday 29th April, and organised by the Inner Development Goals movement.
Speakers at the event included the President of Costa Rica, Professor Robert Kegan, (Harvard); Professor Johan Rockström, Director of the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research; Pernilla Wikman VP Head of Global Business Telia; and many more.
The Inner Development Goals are the tools we need to reach the UN’s seventeen Sustainable Development Goals, and secure a just, prosperous and sustainable future for humanity. The aim of the Inner Development Goals is to make the world work better, and to do this by spreading the skills and qualities that lead to a more purposeful, sustainable, and productive life — for each and for all of us.
The Scottish Leaders Institute's Scottish Hub was a full-day parallel event, where a select group of invited guests from the Scottish parliament, businesses and academic institutions came together to digitally join a handful of the presentations and discussions from Stockholm - and engage in extended discussion and collaboration around how we can use the IDG framework to build a more engaged, purposeful, collaborative and sense-making workforce and wider population here in Scotland.
At the end of the session we had three core initiatives to take forward. More on these coming soon...
The Scottish Leadership Institute would like to recognise and thank the College Development Network for generously making Airthrey Castle and grounds available to us for the day.
